The City Reliquary Museum presents our annual,
Brooklyn Bridge Birthday Bike Ride!
This year celebrating 125 years since opening day May 24th, 1883.
Meet at the City Reliquary Museum
370 Metropolitan Ave. near Havemeyer St.
in Williamsburgh, Brooklyn
on Saturday May 24th at 12:00 noon
The bicycle ride will depart from the Museum and culminate on the Brooklyn anchorage of the Brooklyn Bridge, approximately 10 miles roundtrip. We will be met with Birthday cake, beverages, and a lively presentation of the bridge’s illustrious history. Souvenir t-shirts will be on sale at the CR giftshop. Suggested donation $5; or free with purchase of t-shirt.

The Brooklyn Bridge: 125 Years of Inspiration
The exhibit will feature the artwork of NYC-based students as inspired by the majestic towers of the Brooklyn Bridge and iconography that surrounds it. Kindergarten through college tudents in public and private schools have submitted artistic projects that show historic research and/or visual exploration of the bridge.
Artists’ reception will be held;
The exhibition runs through June 15h, 2008
Regular museum hours: Saturday & Sunday 12-6 pm

This weekend, we’re hosting the 2nd Panorama Challenge at the Queens Museum of Art on Saturday October 6th at 7 PM!
We’re also participating in this year’s Open House New York weekend! We will be open for extended hours on Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 7 PM.
