Since its founding in the year 2000, the Velaslavasay has housed the only 360-degree panorama viewing hall in the West. In September of 2017, the Velaslavasay Panorama retired its Effulgence of the North panorama (on view for 10 years) in preparation for their next panoramic installation and held “The Last Arctic Show” in celebration – the first and last ever variety show dedicated to the retirement of an arctic panorama.
